A weekend with the girls. 2013

Aunty Aureole came to visit. I thought sAureole was going to jump out of her own skin with the excitement of meeting Malia for the first time. Aureole came running up the drive way overcome with excitment for her little niece. It was a sweet moment to watch.

I know that Malia will have the kind of special bond with her Aunty that I have. I hope Malia will turn to her Aunty in times when she needs someone other than her mommy. I Love my sisters and consider Malia lucky to have such wonderful aunties who will love her no matter what.

There is nothing like coming to your moms home to feel safe and relaxed. My mom is amazing and has this way of making her children feel at home no matter what the age. She is a hard working mother that has given so much to her family. She has shown strength in times of adversity and love and compassion in times of need. After having a child of my own I realize just how much she loves us.

A day at the beach 2013

80 degree weather in March. This is why we love California. After our BIG MOVE we decide to put everything on hold and take this time to enjoy the family and have a little fun in the sun. Taking Malia to the beach at 14 months is now fun. she can walk and interact with other children. I love to sit and watch her explore her surroundings. She loves watching the segals fly around and the waves crash in the distance. Although the water is a bit frightning, she enjoys running up and down the beach with mommy while daddy surfs about.

My sister Allison bought her this adorable swimsuit, sun glasses and sand kit. Shes is one stylish one year old.

Two wonderful years with an amazing person. Brad and I continue to grow and our love for each other is steadfast but ever changing, growing in so many directions with each passing day and event in our live. Our love evolves into deep, honest and forgiving love.
